Box Score CHARLOTTE - The Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls women's basketball team defeated Shaw University, 63-61 in a nationally televised game. The Golden Bulls snapped a three game losing streak. JCSU was led by Betsey Burnett who scored 16 points and grabbed four rebounds.

Ashlei Kirven tallied 12 points. and grabbed five rebounds. JCSU shot 46 percent making 25 of 54 shots. The Golden Bulls shot 30 percent from the three point area, while shooting 66 percent from the free throw line. 

Next game will be Wednesday, Feb. 19 at Livingstone College.
