NORMAN, Okla. – 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for NCAA Division II have been announced.
D'Yanni Rhyne, of the Johnson C. Smith University Men's Golf team was named All-America Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Rhyne is majoring in Business Administration with a 3.35 GPA.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA.
Additionally, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.20. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
In all, 207 Division II student-athletes from 78 institutions earned 2024-25 Cobalt All-America Scholar honors.
